Who is Rachell Dumas?

Rachell Dumas is a registered nurse with over a decade of clinical experience, an MSN in Nursing Informatics, and a doctoral candidate in Nursing Informatics. She is the founder and CEO of HEARD (Human-Enabled AI Reporting & Documentation) and the nonprofit A Light After Nine.

Her work is built from lived experience — including 9 pregnancy losses, medical dismissal, and a neurological misdiagnosis that led to two brain surgeries. She builds technology and advocates for systemic change because she knows what it feels like to not be heard in healthcare.
